tournament-logo-copyUsually with 8 wrestlers in a single bracket, you would say that it’s the quaterfinals, but two wrestlers walk out of each bracket instead of one. The WWE gets four spots in The Wrestler Of The Year category when it’s all said and done which is way we take two from each bracket. I want to remind everyone though that when you only have 16 spots, some wrestlers are left in the cold for those that had more successful years. So, if you’re wrestler is not in this tournament, let’s hope he has a better 2017. Depending on who you are a fan of, this could be a hard tournament to choose from because we have some interesting matchups. One match features Seth Rollins taking on Finn Balor while Baron Corbin takes on AJ Styles. I see a match I wish would happen in real life as NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura takes on Brock Lesnar. The bracket is closed out with Bobby Roode taking on Cruiserweight Classic and former Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins. The second bracket features equally difficult matches as former NXT Champion Samoa Joe takes on current WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens, Intercontinental Champion The Miz takes on the legendary Chris Jericho, European Champion Roman Reigns takes on former Cruiserweight Champion Brian Kendrick, and the last match features former WWE Champion Dean Ambrose takes on one half of the Smackdown Live Tag Champions Bray Wyatt. As always choose wisely and you have until Sunday December 25TH to vote for who you want to move on.
