tournament-logo-copyWe are almost to the point where we are going to find out who is going to be competing for Wrestler Of The Year. We already know who is representing TNA and the indies, but it’s time to figure out who will represent the WWE. We started with two brackets with sixteen wrestlers who all in our opinion had a great 2016. I do want to remind you that while I understand that this will ultimately become a popularity contest, it shouldn’t because it should be based on how well they did in 2016. All of the first round or semi-final round (that’s what we are calling it because two winners come from every group) were chosen at random and we gave you the option to choose who you wanted to move on. You guys voted and voiced your opinions clearly and while I believe some of the results were based on popularity, there were some choices made that were logical choices. For instance, Seth Rollins defeated Finn Balor and it’s justified because Seth clearly had a better year and Finn has been injured for quite some time. Now the popularity contest comes into play when looking at Chris Jericho vs The Miz. The Miz had a stellar 2016 with his IC run and the infamous rant on Smackdown Live, but he got wiped out by Chris Jericho and his list. Check out the rest of the results below b checking out the updated brackets.
