I wanted to get some cruiserweight action in on Main Event Madness and I found a match with a pretty interesting story line attached to it. For weeks on end, Scottish Supernova Noam Dar has been obsessed with Alicia Fox who happens to be the girlfriend of fellow cruiserweight Cedric Alexander. It has gotten so bad that Alexander is out to get Dar which sets up our match up from this past Tuesday night’s edition of 205 Live from Baton Rouge, LA as Noam Dar and Alexander kicked off the show. Dar got a little cocky in the beginning of the match as he addressed Alicia and the kiss they had back on RAW before he entered the ring, but Alexander was not having it at all as he avoided the customary cruiserweight handshake at the beginning of the match. Instead, he chose to brutalize Dar with some big shots, a huge uppercut, a dynamic dropkick. No matter what Dar attempted in the match, Alexander had an answer for it.
At one point in the match, Alexander got too fancy and tried to hit some handstand into the ropes, but Dar was there to cut him off with a big kick. Noar started attacking the right arm by hyper extending it to prevent Alexander from using it, but there was one moment when Alexander tried to comeback. He was able to get the sunset flip into a cover, btu when he got up and tried to use the ropes as momentum, he was rocked by a huge European uppercut from Dar that sent him right back into the mat. Noam would continue to work on the arm of Alexanders to prevent him from making a comeback which was smart by the Scottish southpaw. After a flurry of offensive attacks fromt he both of them, a really weird moment in the ring. Alexander had Dar right where he wanted him in the corner. He gets to the top rope to do a moonsault and then out of nowhere and much to my surprise, Alicia moves Dar out of the way. Dar like any smart superstar takes advantage of the situation and hits Alexander with the Champagne Superkneebar and picks up the 1-2-3 for the win.Don’t forget to like our page on Facebook at Facebook.com/MRXPUNCHOUT and follow us on Twitter too.
