It has been a couple of years since we last did this, but Main Event madness changes to Countdown To WrestleMania 33. That’s right for the next 33 days, we are going to be counting down to the SuperBowl of the WWE which is WrestleMania 33 which comes to us from Orlando, Florida this year at the Citrus Bowl. For today’s Countdown match, we are hopping into the DeLorean and going back to 1985 as we visit the very first WrestleMania ever. The match we are checking out from there is between the massive and intimidating King Kong Bundy (FIVE!!!) as he took on Special Delivery Jones. The significance of this match is that it is ranked the sixth shortest match in WrestleMania history. The crowd at Madison Square Garden thought they were going to get an interesting match, but instead if you blinked you missed it. Literally the bell rang, SD Jones charged at him, got put into a bear hug and smashed into the corner. As soon as he stood up, Bundy hit him with the avalanche and a big splash to end the match at 24 seconds. SD Jones’s promo was longer than that at 28 seconds.
