60Today is the fifth time that the WWE will be hosting WWE Payback, but it’s the first time that it’s a Raw exclusive pay per view. Last year at this time, we here still disliked (cause hate is a strong word) the Vaudevillians and Enzo & Cass were now in the big time on the main roster fighting for a chance to become the number one contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships that were held by The New Day. The match seemed like it was going to be promising between the two teams especially after the opening promo by Enzo and Cass, but after Simon Gotch threw Enzo towards the ropes a mistake would happen. You see as he threw Enzo towards them, he slid and his head caught the ropes rocking his neck beck in a way that even you the fan knew he was out. Surprisingly The Vaudevillians didn’t know that he was out when it happened as they approached him. So, The Vaudevillians were named the winners of the match and the number one contenders for the belt. We fast forward a year later an Enzo & Cass are battling The Club (Gallows and Anderson) on the pre-show while Simon Gotch is in the unemployment line now while English looks to restart on Smackdown Live. That’s just how it goes in the world of professional wrestling. Check out the pay per view tonight on the WWE Network.
