The WWE is taking a risk in my opinion with this years Summerslam as they had made the show four hours long like they have for WrestleMania. The only problem is that Summerslam is not WrestleMania by a long shot. In my opinion there are not a lot of matches that really intrigue me, but there are definitely some head scratchers. For one, I am not excited about watching The Undertaker take on Brock Lesnar because we’ve already seen this match before and it wasn’t that exciting the first time around. The only moment that was exciting about the first match is that we actually saw the unthinkable which was The Undertaker losing. So why should I care about an old and slow moving Undertaker versus the Beast Incarnate who should be WWE Champion. I hope they shock me and the match is great, but I doubt it will be. I would have cared a little bit more about the Sheamus vs Randy Orton match if the briefcase was on the line. I don’t understand what Stephen Amell (Arrow) is going to bring to the table when he teams up with Neville to take on Wade Barrett and Stardust, but I doubt he spends more than five minutes in the ring. The only match that I am looking forward to seeing that could potentially steal the show is the Kevin Owens vs Cesaro match. That is going to be an epic battle between two guys who deserve to be on top of the business. Here are my predictions for the night:
Brock Lesnar defeats The Undertaker
Seth Rollins retains the WWE Championship
Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns defeat Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper
Neville and Stephen Amell defeat Stardust and King Barrett
Sheamus defeats Randy Orton
The Primetime Players retain Tag Team Titles
Rusev defeats Dolph Ziggler
PCB defeats Team B.A.D. and Team Bella
Ryback retains IC Title
Cesaro Over Kevin Owens
